Managing the Theory of Constraints Way (ManToC), India 2010-2011
A one-year program to deliver real results through Applying The Theory of Constraints
Offered by Goldratt Schools (a company wholly owned by dr. Eli Goldratt)
Introduction
Many companies are using TOC in many areas to deliver real improvements. These improvements are too often limited to local areas and breakthrough whole system solutions and order of magnitude levels of improvement are not achieved.
This one-year program aims to address this problem, developing people’s ability to facilitate the delivery of real results with TOC through focused improvement projects that will make an impact on the triple bottom line.
The participants will be developed into TOC facilitators. They may now be the leaders of improvement projects, senior managers in companies and government, owners of small to medium sized businesses and aspirant TOC consultants.
The objective (and effectiveness test of the program) is to develop deep TOC understanding that is immediately applied to deliver at least R1 million improvement on the bottom line within the year.
The TOC facilitators will be able to deliver all the general TOC education that would be required to facilitate implementation of improvement projects with material supplied by Goldratt Schools and under the guidance of its faculty during the course of the year.

The objective of each project is to deliver real improvements of at least 10 times the project fee by the end of the program. The improvement projects and the participants will be carefully screened to ensure that this mandatory requirement could be complied with. The process is detailed below.
The case study of this improvement project can be submitted to TOCICO for assessment that could lead to recognition as TOC Implementer.
Focus group for the education
This TOC education is focused on executives or consultants responsible for the improvement of a substantial subsystem if not the whole of the system. This person will facilitate the change process necessary for achieving the results. The facilitation process includes focused TOC training conducted by the facilitator to develop the TOC understanding where required in the organization. The result is that The TOC Way will be accessible to others as part of every implementation project.
Certification
Goldratt Schools exams are written in parallel with the TOCICO exams and the successful participant will be recognized by Goldratt Schools and by TOCICO as TOC Implementer.

The educators will be the international faculty of Goldratt Schools. They will also take responsibility of mentoring the participants during the course of the year and to audit the improvement projects in conjunction with the participant’s senior management.
